Do you take on both room additions and whole-home renovations?
Yes, and we run them the same way. Additions and whole-home renovations are one of our three services, alongside kitchens and bathrooms. What changes between adding a room and reworking a whole house is the scale and the calendar. The management does not change.
Will my estimate still hold three months into the build?
Yes. That is the whole point of it. We provide a detailed estimate that does not change as the home improvement project evolves, and the length of the project does not change that. The estimate itemizes each part of the work, our mark-up included, so the document you check late in the build is the document you agreed to at the start.
Who runs the project day to day once the trades are on site?
Arec Arrambide is our Construction Manager and that is his job. Patrick Richardson, Founder and Production Manager, stays directly involved with every project alongside him, which on a long build is the point. Adam Leckie prepares the estimate, Mitch Brinkley is our Finish Carpenter, and between them our core team carries a combined 50 years in the residential building industry.
What does full project management cover on a project this long?
Everything from pre-construction through to final close-out, held by one firm rather than split between several. On-time execution is one of the four commitments in our mission, and on a build measured in months the sequence between trades is the single thing that decides whether that commitment holds.
